Thelma Ekiyor is a Senior Development Expert/Practitioner with 18 years experience. She has initiated, led and supervised implemented social impact projects to improve underprivileged communities across Africa (22 countries) in the areas of conflict resolution, women’s leadership and capacity building, project management and grant making. Thelma has also worked as a Non-profit practitioner and a donor with African and International donor organisations.
She is the Chief Executive Officer/Co-Founder of Afrigrants Resources Ltd (Social Enterprise), a company that leverages financing resources and collaborations to support social impact investments in education, entrepreneurship and agriculture.
She has also pioneered and held big positions in renowned organizations including: TY Danjuma Foundation, West African Civil Society Institute, Centre for Conflict Resolution, University of Cape Town, West African Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP) NGO, to mention a few.
Thelma holds an MBA(Specialization in Innovation & Entrepreneurship) from Imperial College London, a degree(LLB) in Law from University of Buckingham and is a fellow of Centre for Rule of Law, Democracy & Development (Stanford University, USA). She has also authored and co-authored resources of tremendous impact in several works of life
